Hadley: Energy policy should include biodiesel

Kathy Hadley, executive director of the National Center for Appropriate Technology in Butte writes has an op-ed in today's Billings Gazette on Montana's energy policy.

She writes, "To make Montana less vulnerable to fuel shortages, the Legislature will consider a bill that would add a percentage of biodiesel to our fuel mix based on Montana's biodiesel production capacity. Biodiesel is cleaner than traditional diesel, and it can be made from Montana-grown oilseed crops - great news for Montana farmers."
