Wyoming one step ahead on biodiesel

It's time to catch up. It looks like Wyoming is getting one step ahead of Billings in the effort to bring broader prosperity to their rural communities by promoting clean, renewable fuel from farms.

The Lee Newspapers Wyoming Bureau writes today about a Colorado company that wants to buy 22,000 acres of canola from Wyoming farmers for biodiesel.

"I'm all for the bio," one farmer said. "We're going to put in a 10,000-gallon tank of it as soon as we can. Price isn't the reason, either, because it's about the same" as conventional diesel.
