Why fight for rural Montana?
The problems we care about and what we're doing to solve them
What do good water, family farms and ranches, and politics have in common?
We depend on all them. It’s easy to see how we depend on clean water and family farms and ranches. But politics?
Yet politics decide much of what happens in our state and nation. Dirty politics can take away our good water. Corrupt politics can take away the ability of family farmers and ranchers to earn a living and provide for our families.
You may already believe that keeping Montana’s water clean and keeping farm and ranch families on the land are worth fighting for. And you may already know how much this fight depends on good people being actively engaged in politics. Your civic life can make a big difference in determining whether Montana farms and ranches, and the clean water they depend on, survive.
The Montana League of Rural Voters is a Montana organization that will help you make a difference in protecting our clean water from dirty politics and in protecting family farms and ranches from corrupt politics.
